Optogate PB-07 - Automatic microphone switch for microphone stands and goosenecks

From our customers suggestions we developed the PB-07. On this model the sensor is on the flat side. Like the other models the PB-07 will switch on the microphone if someone is in front of the mic. A red status LED indicates if the microphone is switched on. The PB-07 will switch off the microphone if nobody is in front of the mic.

The distance can be adjusted between 15 cm and 120 cm by a spindle trimmer. On the rear is a 4 mm threaded hole to install a clip. The PB-07 can then be installed on a mic - stand and will disappear behind the stand. The PB-07 can also be connected to a gooseneck microphone.The PB-07 works with 48 Volt phantom power to eliminate batteries and AC adaptors. Condenser microphones can also be used in connection with the PB-07.

Applications:

This model is able to disappear behind the mic stand. You can install it in a lower position on the stand and it will switch on the microphone, even though the singer is not exactly in front.

By eliminating unwanted background noise of other instruments into unused microphones on stage, the clarity of the mix and the dynamics will be increased due to less phase cancellation and background noise. It reduces the possibility of feedback from unused mics. Just plug & Play...
