DMX Multitester

This is the smallest DMX- and cable tester with a build in microcontroller worldwide. It fits in every pocket due to the small size. It can recognize defects like short circuit, wrong polarity and broken cables. 3 status LEDs will indicate the test result. The tester is also able to check the DMX signal on pin 2 and pin 3 if it is connected to a lighting desk.

The device powers-on by pressing the reset button. The build in microcontroller starts the mesaurement automatically when everything is okay, the tester will indicate the result with the corresponding LEDs. If no DMX signal is present on pin 2 and pin 3 the tester automatically change to the cable testing mode, the fault will be indicated by the LEDs as well. After 10 seconds, the device will fall into "sleep mode" again to guarantee a long battery life time. The battery will have a long lifetime during normal operation. however, if you want to change the battery, you can easily remove the two plastic pins and the faceplate.
